How do I know my kurti size?

The pre requisite is to know your body size. Get it measured from a professional tailor or do-it-yourself. Your job is half done in the search for the perfect Kurti Size, once you have got the right numbers.

Check the size chart on our website and look for your size, and opt for the best match. But remember there is no universal size chart for Kurtis and Tunics. It might vary from store to store or even with the cloth brands. So make sure you pick the right one as per our size chart.

Choosing the right kurti size is essential for a perfect fit and comfortable wear. Follow these simple steps to measure your kurti size accurately and ensure you get the best fit.

Steps to Measure Kurti Size:

  1. Use a Well-Fitted Kurti or Suit Top:

    • Take one of your well-fitted suits or kurti tops to use as a reference for measurement. This will help in getting an accurate size for your next purchase.

  2. Measure the Underarm to Underarm Width:

    • Lay the kurti flat on a table or a smooth surface.

    • Measure exactly from one armpit (underarm) to the other armpit (underarm) across the chest.

    • Measure exactly from one armpit to other armpit exactly as shown in picture in inches and then multiply it by 2.

    •  It is always advisable to take 2 inches extra as most of the suits/Kurtis are designed without hooks or buttons on back.

    • Ensure the kurti is not stretched or wrinkled while measuring.

  3. Consider Underarm to Underarm Measurement Only:

    • Our kurti sizes are based solely on underarm to underarm measurements.

    • This method provides the most accurate fit for different body shapes.

  4. Give Your Sizes in Numeric Only:

    • Always provide your size in numerical format (e.g., 36, 38, 40 inches).

    • Alphabet-based sizes (S, M, L, XL) vary from one manufacturer to another, making them less reliable.

  5. Double-Check Your Measurements:

    • Take the measurement twice to ensure accuracy.

    • If you are in between sizes, opt for the bigger size for comfort.

  6. Use a Soft Measuring Tape:

    • A soft measuring tape is ideal for accurate measurements.

    • Avoid using rulers or hard tapes as they may not provide precise results.

  7. Compare with Size Chart Before Buying:

    • Always refer to the brand’s size chart before making a purchase.

    • Different brands may have slight variations in sizing.

By following these steps, you can confidently select the right kurti size and enjoy a comfortable and flattering fit. Happy shopping!
